Home Holidays Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving

There are many reasons to be thankful all year round, but there is just something about the holiday season; in particular, Thanksgiving weekend is when most people are thinking about what they are most thankful for in life. During this part of the year, many people offer their time to local soup kitchens or other programs. Of course, some other things people look forward to around this time include events, parades, and meals with loved ones.

With this in mind, Best of NJ offers new updates to our Thanksgiving landing page each year. The types of stories you’ll find on our website include statewide event listings for parades and local festivals; as well as features for recipes, restaurants open during the weekend, crafts, wine pairings, and more. In fact, we even have tips for how to handle Thanksgiving dinner with a toddler and stay polite at dinner. (Because we all know sometimes the family dinner talk can turn into all out verbal warfare between adults.)

But if none of that sounds like something you want to read, then maybe this next story will; if you’re giving up on meat, we also have a special story about how to eat vegan this Thanksgiving. It may not be the most common way to eat dinner this time of year, but so what?

In any case, we hope these features and event listings help you make the most out of this holiday season. Please don’t forget to check out all of our other great stories and events while you’re here!
