The Best Events

Best for Everyone: Wall Fair

When: Thursday, June 30 to Sunday, July 3, 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm
Where: Community Park, Allaire Road and Baileys Corner Road, Wall Township
Description: Wall Township’s summer fair is a major annual event for the community. It features a ton of vendors, live entertainment, fireworks, games, rides, and other great activities. The fair also offers food and sweet treats, such as funnel cakes, French fries, ribs, and sausages, as well as Italian ice, beer, and lemonade.

Wall Township

Best for Families: Trip to the Beach

When: Friday, June 24, 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Where: 2700 Allaire Road, Wall Township
Description: Wall Township takes pride in their periodical community programs. Their Trip to the Beach occasion is just that: A trip to the beach. On June 24, from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm, members of the community can get together for a fun excursion to a nearby beach.

Best for Breakfast / Brunch: Meemom’s Kitchen

Description: Meemom’s is a quaint Wall restaurant open every day of the week for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Wall Township

Description: Harpoon Willy’s is one of Wall’s top American bars and seafood restaurants. The location offers a lovely view of the water, where you can gaze at the borough’s picturesque nature while chowing down on a crab cake sandwich, a juicy burger, or fresh fish and chips.

The Best Tourist Attraction

The New Jersey Museum of Transportation

Wall Township
Address: 4265 Atlantic Avenue, Wall Township
Description: Founded in 1952, the New Jersey Museum of Transportation’s Pine Creek Railroad is one of the oldest operating narrow gauge railway exhibits in the country. The location has become a Wall Township landmark, and visitors flock to the museum every day, even enjoying the fun train rides; train rides are offered every weekend at the beginning of the summer, and from July 4 until September 5, train rides are offered every day of the week. The fare for regular daily trains is $4.00, and children 2-years-old and younger ride for free.

History: Wall Township was first explored by settlers in 1734. The township was incorporated into the State of New Jersey in 1851, and has since been a busy borough in the Garden State.
