For many, Atlantic City is synonymous with casinos. But Bally’s Atlantic City Resort offers food, fun, and more for all ages. For instance, The Yard is a new beer garden-style venue with both indoor and outdoor attractions. The spot is just steps off the boardwalk and offers live music, elevated gastro-pub fare, arcade games, and more.
The Yard is more than 10,000-square feet and boasts 90s themed arcade games, lounge-style seating, and two live music stages. (One indoors and another outdoors.) The drink menu includes an expansive list of beers and cocktails, while the gastro-pub style menu features beer hall favorites. Paul Juliano, Senior Vice President of Operations | Bally’s Corporation describes the décor as “modern industrial beer garden-style design.”

What to Expect
The Yard seats about 400 guests indoors, as well as 70 outside. In fact, the venue touts a modern glass building with a retractable roof and wall panels; which adjust to match the weather in any season.
As for the menu, current hits include the tuna stack (ahi tuna with avocado and masago). However, Paul’s favorite dish is the “Influencer Burger” with slab bacon, house-smoked onion, smoked cheddar fondue, and jalapeno. The Wagyu beef hot dog is also popular, with BBQ onions, cheddar, sport peppers, and mustard on a pretzel roll. Then there’s the Snack Attack; a table sampler with pretzel nuggets, Wisconsin fried cheese curds, shishito peppers, Philly rolls, dips, and sauces.
But save room for desserts like the O.G. Chipwich (homemade vanilla ice cream in between two homemade chocolate chip cookies); or the Kokomo, with Key lime ice cream, Snickerdoodle crumbles, and white chocolate meringue. Click here to see the full food menu.
Beers, Cocktails, & Live Music
On top of the food menu, The Yard provides a wide range of local and national brews, plus craft cocktails. In particular, the restaurant serves Bally’s signature beers like the Spellbound Citra Pale Ale and Spellbound Mango Pale Ale. Popular cocktails include the People’s Margarita, with tequila, pineapple, lime, agave, and salt; as well as the Purple Haze with two kinds of rum, amaro, banana, coconut, and lemon. They also offer daily drink specials, such as 12-ounce cans of PBR for $5. Meanwhile, The Yard hosts live bands and DJs every Thursday through Sunday all night long.
