The Benefits of Technology

Marcus Weldon, President of Bell Labs and Chief Technology Officer of Nokia, sat down for an episode of Caucus: New Jersey with Steve Adubato to talk about the exact benefits. He also explains how people can run their lives more efficiently by utilizing technology to perform mundane tasks.

Weldon says technology today helps create more time for us to engage in and complete other important tasks. He also describes how sites like Facebook and Twitter help save time through mundane interaction; though he feels humans still need in-person interaction to build trust and engage in difficult topics.

To hear more of Weldon’s thoughts about the importance and effectiveness of technology, check out this segment of Caucus: New Jersey with Steve Adubato.
