To kick off the first weekend in June, Creation Entertainment brought the highly anticipated Once Upon a Time Convention to the Garden State. Countless fans of the hit television series traveled out to the Marriott Hanover in Whippany on June 4-5 for a wonderful convention. Once Upon a Time is an American fairy tale drama series that has aired on ABC since 2011.
In its 5-season-and-counting run, Once Upon a Time has only increased in popularity.
The show’s very first convention was held in 2015, and since then, Creation Entertainment, an American entertainment company from California, has been continuously booking fan conventions for the series.

A Cast of Characters
During the two-day event, fans were able to meet, take pictures with, and get autographs from a number of their favorite Once Upon a Time actors and actresses, including Lana Parrilla (Regina), Lee Arenberg (Leroy/Grumpy), Emilie de Ravin (Belle), Sinqua Walls (Lancelot), Eion Bailey (August Booth/Pinocchio), Robbie Kay (Peter Pan), Rebecca Mader (Zelena), Michael Coleman (Happy), Beverly Elliott (Granny), Sean Maguire (Robin Hood), Tony Amendola (Gepetto), Chris Gauthier (Smee), and Gil McKinney (Prince Eric).
Arenberg was the convention’s Master of Ceremonies. He even helped create fun events for the convention, and made sure guests had a good time.
Of course, special guests like Bailey, Kay, Walls, and more, appeared on stage to give insight into the show, their acting careers, and their amusing personal lives. Every guest was engaging and entertaining, and had the audience constantly erupting into powerful bursts of laughter and cheer.

The convention’s modest vendor area offers trinkets and gifts designed for fans of Once Upon a Time. From posters to clothes, guests could choose from various items to get signed by their favorite cast members.
The convention lets fans get together, dress up as their favorite characters, meet their favorite stars, and have fun. Overall, it was another successful event from Creation Entertainment.
Following the immense popularity of this past Once Upon a Time Convention, the event will return next year; the Marriott Hanover will host three full days of festivities from Friday, October 20 to Sunday, October 22, 2017.
