The month of June is one of the best times of year in the Garden State. It’s generally warm but not too hot and it’s the perfect weather for an outdoor festival. You’ll find seaside celebrations with a cool ocean breeze, yummy food festivals with delicious treats and live music events of all varieties. North Jersey June Festivals
Big Greek Festival
Where: Saint Andrew Greek Orthodox Church, 1447 Sussex Turnpike, Randolph
When: June 7 to 9 at various times
Price: $2 admission, free for children 12 & under
Details: Come for the authentic Greek food and stay for the shopping, entertainment, outdoor games and church tours. The menu offers mouth-watering Greek specialties like baklava, moussaka, souvlaki and spanakopita. Live music and folk dancing performances are scheduled throughout the festival.

Ringwood Manor Antiques & Vintage Fair
Where: Ringwood Manor, 1304 Sloatsburg Road, Ringwood
When: June 9 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
Price: $5 per car for in-state vehicles, $7 per car for out-of-state vehicles
Details: Peruse the fair for vintage items, collectibles, antiques, books, art and more. Want your own item appraised? Jon Felz of RZM Antiques will be offering $10 per item verbal appraisals from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Live music, a craft area for children and gourmet food trucks will be on the premises, so bring the whole family. Finish up with a tour of Ringwood Manor – just $3 for adults and $1 for children ages 6-12.

Central Jersey June Festivals
Raritan Native American Heritage Celebration & Pow Wow
Where: Middlesex County Fairgrounds, 655 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick
When: June 15 & 16 from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm
Price: $12 for adults & teens, $10 for seniors & students, $8 for children ages 6-12, free for kids 5 & under
Details: Celebrate Native American heritage with this summer celebration and traditional pow wow at Middlesex County Fairgrounds. The event boasts Native American artists, singers, dancers and performers from across the country. Don’t miss out on the Grand Entry of Dancers at 1:00 and 5:00 pm on both days.

Where: New Jersey Convention & Expo Center, 97 Sunfield Avenue, Edison
When: June 29 from 10:30 am to 6:00 pm & June 30 from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm
Price: $35 single-day ticket for Saturday, $25 single-day ticket for Sunday, or two-day ticket for $50
Details: Come together with other fans of sci-fi, horror, comics and superheroes to meet some of the current greats. Fans of The Walking Dead will see Chandler Riggs, Michael Rooker, Tom Payne and other cast members of the hit show. Also scheduled to appear are actors Jenna Elfman and Robin Lord Taylor. Members of the military and veterans receive free admission with a copy of their military ID.

Jersey Shore June Festivals
National Marina Day
Where: Leonardo State Marina, 102 Concord Avenue, Leonardo
When: June 8 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Price: Free admission
Details: A youth fishing tournament and pirate parade make this a super fun event for kiddos. Highlights of the day include face painting, food trucks, kayak tours and a K-9 demonstration from the New Jersey State Park Police. Bring the whole family along for a fun day at the marina.

Oceanport Lions Club Strawberry Fair
Where: Monmouth Park Race Track Parking Area, Port Au Peck Avenue, Oceanport
When: May 29 to June 2 from 6:00 to 10:00 pm
Price: $2 admission, free for children 5 & under
Details: Oceanport Lions Club’s annual Strawberry Fair features rides, games, attractions and delicious helpings of strawberry shortcake. Ride tickets are available to purchase on site and $30 bracelets are offered on Thursday and Sunday. Also on Sunday, see the actual 1960’s Batmobile on display! All proceeds from this event will be donated to local charities.

Day at the Farm
Where: Pennsville Township Historical Society, 86 Church Landing Road, Pennsville
When: June 1 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm
Price: Free admission
Details: Spend the afternoon on the beautiful grounds of the Pennsville Township Historical Society and check out historical reenactments, artisan demonstrations and museum tours. There’s plenty of fun for the kids too, such as children’s games, pony rides, face painting, chalk hair painting and yummy snacks.

South Jersey Wine and Music Festival
Where: Unexpected Farm NJ, 1394 Piney Hollow Road, Newfield
When: June 29 & 30 from noon to 5:00 pm
Price: $30 for one-day ticket, $45 for two-day ticket
Details: A ticket into this annual festival will get you a souvenir wine glass, tastings from local wineries, live music and parking. Food vendors include The Runaway Chef, Top Chef Mobile Cuisine and Tacos Al Carbon, all of whom use Jersey fresh produce. On Saturday, rock out to Stealing Savannah, while Sunday features No Relation Band.
