Details: If you were thirsty and needed a glass of water, how far would you walk for it? Join Embrace Relief for their 3rd Annual 5K Walk-A-Thon and support their clean water initiative. Their Fountains of Hope project reconstructs abandoned wells in Africa, giving clean water access to nearly a million people. They want to reduce the spread of waterborne diseases which are among the leading causes of illness and death in Africa, especially among children. Embrace Relief is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit international humanitarian relief and development organization.
