The Randolph Diner Offers Homemade Meals at Fair Prices

When Bobby Spiropoulos moved to Randolph in the early 1990s, he was just starting a family with his wife, Kathy. Eager to find a way to contribute to his new community, he had an idea. “What better way to bring people together than close-to-home-cooked meals at affordable prices?” The Randolph Diner is that idea brought to life.

Since May of 1991, The Randolph Diner Bar & Grill has been serving both newcomers and loyal clientele. The 11,000-square-foot establishment boasts a dining room, counter service, bar area, and catering hall. But the vibe is friendly and welcoming in every section. “Our doors are open and welcoming to all individuals,” Bobby says.

Mouthwatering Meals at The Randolph Diner Bar & Grill

Family and friends looking for a sit-down meal in a relaxing environment will enjoy the spacious dining room. As a diner, the menu includes a wide variety of cuisines, including American, Mexican, Italian, and Greek. Gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options are also available, as well as a kids’ menu for children under 12.

In particular, Bobby recommends the Mac and Cheese Burger. This specialty burger includes bacon, cheddar cheese, and homemade mac and cheese. As for lighter fare, popular options include the Avocado Mango Salad. This salad is a mix of greens, avocados, mangoes, strawberries, tomatoes, and onions in a citrus dressing.

As for dessert, Bobby says The Randolph Diner is famous for their Baklava Cheesecake.

More Than Just a Diner

Beyond the traditional diner experience, the restaurant offers a lively bar scene. In fact, the bar area boasts 30 large-screen TVs for live sporting events and occasionally hosts live musical performances. The Randolph Diner offers Happy Hour specials on weeknights from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm; as well as regular Trivia and Bingo Nights!

Meanwhile, the upper level catering hall is available to reserve for private events, which range from sports banquets to weddings.

“My favorite and most rewarding part of the job is bonding with all the customers throughout the years,” Bobby says. “There is no better feeling than meeting an individual when they are a child and having them return years down the line with their own children.”

Looking Ahead (and Back)

Speaking of children, Bobby looks forward to the day when the next generation of his family takes over the diner. Specifically, his sons Christopher and Dimitri.

Thinking about why The Randolph Diner continues to endure, Bobby echoes his earlier sentiment about inclusivity. “Our environment serves to make all customers feel like family when they walk through our doors. Dining at The Randolph Diner tastes and feels like home.”
