There’s a new spot in Point Pleasant with a focus on old-school, hot sandwiches. Beef Boys Sandwich Co specializes in homemade hot roast beef, turkey, and roast pork sandwiches. Reminiscent of a classic butcher shop, they offer signature sandwiches that can be served “The Beef Boys Way”.
Beyond just sandwiches, Beef Boys Sandwich Co offers seasonal soups and sides. Those side options include fresh-cut French fries and homemade salads like coleslaw, potato, and macaroni. As for their sandwiches, ordering them “The Beef Boys Way” means topping them with homemade gravy and cheese sauce.

A Beefed Up Menu
Co-owner Angelo Melchiorri Jr. says his favorite item is the cheesesteak. At Beef Boys Sandwich Co, this means fresh prime-roasted beef and cheese sauce with or without peppers and onions. They also keeps things fresh with a weekly sandwich special.
But don’t let the name scare off vegetarians, they offer a roasted veggie sandwich with their fresh mozzarella. Vegans can also order this same item without cheese. “We’re looking to bring a new type of food to the area,” Angelo says. As for soups, they plan on introducing a few different flavors to the menu. However, they are starting off with the classic, homemade chicken noodle soup, available in small, medium, or large sizes. To-go gravy, sauce, and Beef Boys sodas are for sale as well. In addition, they offer pickup/takeout, delivery, and catering services.

Angelo Melchiorri Sr. and his son Angelo Melchiorri Jr. own Beef Boys Sandwich Co. Angelo Jr. is a chef, and went to culinary school in New York City before working in several restaurants. He currently lives in Brick, but he loves Point Pleasant. “Point Pleasant has the most amazing people, so it was the perfect place for us,” he says. The 900-square ft space seats 16 diners in a space with a deliberate type of ambiance. “We are going for a clean, old butcher shop look,” Angelo Jr. says. The sandwich shop also has two picnic tables set up outdoors year-round.
