Year Round: (Pies, Cider Donuts, Gift Baskets, Jams)

The Country Store offers a wide variety of fresh seasonal local produce, apple cider donuts, breads, muffins, scones, cookies, gourmet items, gift baskets and holiday gift baskets. They are most famous however for their pies. Popular varieties like apple, peach and berry are available year-round, and there are also many seasonal pies made from orchard-fresh fruits. In addition to gourmet jams and jellies, the store also creates customized fruit and gift baskets with delivery services to Freehold, Manalapan, and Englishtown.

Fall: (Apples, Cider, Pumpkins, Hay Rides)

In September, the orchard shifts gears to focus on apple picking, though some late-season peaches are available through September. Apple varieties include familiar Golden Delicious and Macintosh as well as lesser known apples like Stayman Winesap and Rome Beauty. The Country Store sells fresh-pressed apple cider throughout the apple-picking season. You can also pick pumpkins from the field for fall decorating, and hay rides around the farm are available on weekends beginning in mid-September.

Winter: (Bakery, Cider Donuts, Gift Items, Gourmet Items)

Though the farm is quieter once apple-picking season ends in late October, the Country Store is open all year with its selection of gourmet treats and customizable gift baskets. The bakery whips up delicious holiday pies, which are also available in creative gift stacks. Battleview Orchard also helps schools and organizations with pie fundraisers throughout the year.

Spring: (Strawberries, Easter Egg Hunt, Wagon Rides)

Battlefield Orchards celebrates spring and helps the community by hosting an Easter Egg hunt — the price of admission is a canned good for a local food bank. During special events in the spring, wagon rides around the farm offer informational tours, and in May strawberries are ripe for the picking as the pick-your-own season gets underway.

Summer: (Sour Cherries, Peaches, Corn, Tomatoes)

Pick-your-own season continues throughout summer with sour cherries (perfect for pies!), nectarines and peaches ripening in the orchard. They harvest Jersey sweet corn and tomatoes at peak freshness. Both of these produce are available in the Country Store from about mid-July to mid-September. Seasonal pies include cherry and peach melba.
