4K Weddings Captures Your Special Day in Cinematic Style

The owner and operator of 4K Weddings, Jonathan, always aims to go above and beyond for his clients. For example, the weather was awful during a couple’s recent wedding day; which meant he couldn’t fly his drone in the rain at the venue. Instead, he returned to the venue a few weeks later to capture 4K drone footage in much better conditions.

That is all in a day’s work for 4K Weddings, based in Clifton. Jonathan offers a very specific service, strictly shooting 4k video and exclusively filming weddings for New Jersey residents. The company takes on a limited number of projects each year, and only shoots one wedding per day. This ensures every film receives the necessary time and dedication.

The 4k Difference

Jonathan uses a cinematic style, which he says gives every video a more film-like look and feel. He gains a sense of each couple’s personality, creating a film that reflects that. “I shoot a lot of extra video footage and only pick out the best shots,” he says. He rarely stages shots, and instead says “I usually like to catch things unfolding naturally.”

A key component to the quality of 4K Weddings is the equipment. Jonathan uses 4K ultra-HD cameras, various lenses, multi-cameras, stabilizers, an aerial drone, and professional sound gear. In fact, he has the same equipment and software that’s used in major motion pictures. “The audio during the ceremony and reception is crisp and clear,” he explains. In addition, he always does backup recordings for peace of mind. Meanwhile, recording gear is always placed in a way that clearly captures every moment without intruding on guests and vendors.

At 4K Weddings, client satisfaction is everything. Jonathan offers quick turnaround times for couples, but also asks for feedback. “I encourage the couples I work with to give as much input as they like,” he says. For example, he allows them to choose the video’s music and offers them creative control if they prefer. “Everything is edited in house by myself,” he says. On top of that, he is also the lead videographer and editor. “I don’t subcontract any work out,” he explains. Click here to see pricing and packages.

4K Weddings Makes it Simple for Couples

4K Weddings provides full-day coverage and full edits for an affordable price. An Instagram trailer of your wedding is also included. The reason he keeps his pricing simple? “Because I know it’s overwhelming planning a wedding and deciding on vendors based on so many factors,” he says. “I love getting to know couples and figuring out how best to tell their love story,” he adds. “Every wedding is unique, and I show that in the couple’s final cut.”

After attending film school, Jonathan shot corporate videos for years while shooting wedding videos on weekends. He decided to turn his skills and passion for wedding videography into a full-time business in 2018.
