Why it’s the Best: Nestled midway between Manhattan and Philadelphia on 15 rolling acres, the Park Chateau Estate & Gardens is a beautiful wedding venue and event hall bringing guests over 30 years of catering experience straight to their table. This elegant wedding venue allows visitors to step into the pages of a classic French Novel; embracing the gorgeous architecture of the time and capturing the essence of romance. It’s East Brunswick location makes the Park Chateau an ideal midway point for many families and friends in the tristate area. The Park Chateau is an extremely versatile wedding hall, allowing for both indoor and outdoor weddings. It even features a private chapel for hosting ceremonies.
Why I like it: The elegant, onsite Chateau Grande Hotel gives brides, grooms, and guests the perfect place to stay.

#2: Mallard Island Yacht Club

Where: Manahawkin
Details: The Mallard Island Yacht Club is perfect for those who can’t decide between a beach, estate, or hotel wedding. This destination venue has second-to-none views. Beach weddings have their ceremony in the boathouse chapel. Meanwhile, the Yacht Club ballroom hosts parties of up to 250 guests. But good luck convincing the bride to even leave the “Crown Jewel” of Mallard; a 3,000 sq ft bridal suite that offers a stunning view of the Barnegat Bay.

The original building, a Morris County landmark, was built in 1870 and has undergone an extensive multi-million dollar renovation. The Savoy features a circular drive, expansive manicured grounds, a stunning light-filled ballroom, and a luxurious bridal suite. The manicured gardens blend into the rolling hills of the golf course that adjoins the property. Highlights include a grand ballroom with colossal crystal chandeliers, windows from floor to ceiling, period antiques, and fireplaces. The venue fuses 19th-century atmosphere with state-of-the-art video and lighting capabilities. The Park Savoy can host up to 400 wedding guests.

Where: Shrewsbury
Details: Originally a private summer residence, Shadowbrook is an expansive venue set on 18 acres. Their team of chefs and culinary artisans create world-class, award-winning cuisine including hors d’oeuvres, entrees, and desserts. Shadowbrook can also accommodate Kosher Weddings, as they partner with Foremost Kosher Caterers. The massive ballroom, luscious landscaping, floral-filled foyer, and ceremony hall create an unforgettable experience.


#5: Nanina’s in the Park

Why it’s the Best: Picture a gorgeous sunny day at a Tuscan villa in a park. Now add a bride, her groom, family, and a few hundred friends. You’ve just created the perfect wedding at Nanina’s in the Park. This landmark venue is on the edge of historic Branch Brook Park, known for manicured grounds and the largest variety of cherry trees in the world. Nanina’s is surrounded by gardens, a brook, an arched stone bridge, an outdoor patio, waterfalls, fountains and a circular cobblestone driveway leading to a wide portico. The grand ballroom features a cathedral ceiling with stately Austrian crystal chandeliers and clerestory windows that light up the space. Nanina’s holds 400 guests in the ballroom, and 200 guests outdoors.
Why I like it: Their unique cherry gardens create a special backdrop for photos that make weddings here unmistakeable.

#6: Florentine Gardens

Where: River Vale
Details: The Estate at Florentine Gardens has been operating as a wedding venue for over 30 years. With each new renovation, they continue to chase Thomas Daidone’s dream of becoming the tristate area’s best wedding venue. (His family still operates the estate to this day.) Their latest improvement to the ballroom adds better acoustics and enhanced lighting capabilities. The outdoor veranda and garden offer the perfect setting to host a ceremony.


#7: The Venetian

Where: Garfield
Details: From the elegant exterior and gleaming ballroom to stunning palazzo, the Venetian offers a luxurious wedding experience. The rich draperies, beautiful double staircase, massive chandeliers, and incredible architectural details are breathtaking. Their grand ballroom offers marble floors, crystal chandeliers, a lighted indoor fountain, and outdoor patio. Additional services include wedding planning, white glove service, ice sculpting and valet parking.


#8: Eagle Oaks Golf and Country Club

Where: Farmingdale
Details: Eagle Oaks makes weddings feel intimate despite the spacious ballroom. The golf course makes for a wonderful backdrop, as does the photogenic 60,000 sq ft Southern Colonial-style Clubhouse. That Clubhouse also offers four luxury guest suites. In addition, Eagle Oaks provides valet parking, a terraced wedding garden, wrought iron staircases, plus a bridal suite, ballroom, and wine cellar. The venue can host up to 600 guests per wedding.

Details: The Rockleigh bills itself as a versatile wedding experience. The property boasts a Grand Pavilion for up to 850 guests, and a more intimate Bristol Room for 275 guests. Meanwhile, the in-house culinary team offers Continental and Kosher cuisines, crafting seasonally-minded menus personalized for every wedding.

Details: The Imperia offers three distinct ballrooms, melding modern elegance, exceptional cuisine, and luxurious fantasy. One standout feature is the double spiral grand staircase in the lobby.
