The Ronas’s are a large family. This always makes finding a space that can accommodate family parties challenging. So when a vacant space became available near their homes, they saw an opportunity. Now, Headquarters NJ in Somers Point is a spacious venue that can host all sorts of special events.
Prior to Headquarters NJ, the 4,000-square-foot venue was an office space and call center with cubicles. After repurposing the space, co-owner Reuben Ronas now says they accommodate a wide range of events. “Our spacious venue has a homey-modern ambiance and is versatile,” he says.

Popular events to host at Headquarters include sweet 16s, birthdays, anniversaries, bridal showers, baby showers, christenings, engagement parties, and weddings. The building also houses Cornhole Craze, an indoor cornhole facility. This allows Headquarters to partner with their neighbors to host cornhole tournaments and fundraisers.
Headquarters NJ Amenities
Headquarters NJ provides a dance floor as well as party add-ons like photobooths, TV monitors, and a DJ booth. They can also offer printing services for swag or party favors, and even handle catering. That’s because the Ronas family also owns Familya Kusina, a Filipino American restaurant in Egg Harbor Township. Likewise, event organizers can store food in the kitchen area. The venue can seat 110 to 120 guests without impacting the dance floor.
“We wanted to make sure our venue is welcoming and accommodating to people looking for venues and party halls. That’s why we set up our venue with extra accessories which usually add stress to party planners,” Reuben says. Since Headquarters NJ already has TVs, photo/DJ booths, and other amenities, party planners don’t have to book them separately.

Each member of the Ronas family contributes to their businesses based on individual strengths. For instance, Myra Ronas is a talented decorator. Ronny Ronas is a successful DJ. Meanwhile, Ruffy Ronas excels in photography and videography, while Reuben handles marketing and business management. Finally, Gillian Ronas specializes in cakes.
“We want this location to be a meeting place for our community. Especially for the Filipino American community to have a place they can call home or a recreation center,” Reuben says. They also want the space to offer entertainment like small concerts in the future.
