Whether taking a break from the world, or indulging in a day of relaxation with friends; the spots on the list will leave anyone feeling blissfully rejuvenated and supremely pampered. Not only is it physically relaxing, but a spa day is nourishing for the soul as well. Plus, with each changing season, our skin is always in need of care.

New Jersey is full of award-winning spas to choose from. With this in mind, we’re sharing our favorite places that put the “Ahh” in “Spa…ahh” day. This collection of spas includes places that offer pools, saunas, and cold therapy as well as massage and facial specialists. Some of them even feature cosmetic surgery options. But all of them offer a top-notch experience with a focus on making stress melt away. Best in North Jersey: Elements Spa

Couples who book treatments on Valentine’s Day will receive a special treat: Complimentary champagne and chocolate truffles with every couples massage. Best in Bergen County: SoJo Spa Club

Details: This fan-favorite spa is open daily from 9:00 am to 9:30 pm. A daily admission pass lets guests enjoy their many pools, saunas, and bathhouses for the day. In fact, they have over 10 saunas including a Charcoal Sauna, Himalayan Salt Sauna, and Ice Room. An Eastern European Halotherapy Room and Japanese Volcanic Sand Bath round out their global treatments and cultural representation. A la carte services include acupressure therapy, Korean body scrubs, and massages; including the deep muscle massage, aromatherapy massage, and couples massage. But no trip is complete without catching the sunset from their rooftop infinity pool, open all year round. Best in Essex County: The Woodhouse Day Spa

Details: The Woodhouse Spa in downtown Montclair offers a range of treatments and services. In particular, clients love their WH Signature Calming Retreat massage. Best in Mercer County: Alchemy Mind & Body

The Spa at The Heldrich
