Former New York Giants Wide Receiver David Tyree and his wife, Leilah, have seven children. So, in their own words, they always have room at their dinner table. That’s the meaning behind the name of Tyree’s Table, a new health food eatery in Morristown.
Leilah owns the restaurant, and runs the day-to-day operations along with her husband. She says the 1,500-square foot restaurant has a “fresh, sporty, familial vibe.” This includes a picture wall, indoor dining for up to 15 guests, and seasonal outdoor sidewalk seating for 8 more.

Healthy Salads, Smoothies, & More
Leilah describes the food as “fresh and made to order” at Tyree’s Table. The menu includes salads, warps, sandwiches, acai bowls, toasts, and smoothies. At the moment, the avocado lox toast is a popular choice. It comes with cucumber, red onion, lime, and everything bagel seasoning. The California love wrap is also a hit, with avocado, chicken, sea salt, garlic, spinach, tomato, cucumber, and provolone.
One other favorite is the garden medley salad with chicken, which includes red onion, apples, feta, and pumpkin seeds. But Leilah’s favorite dish is their Greek toast, which has hummus, cucumber, tomato, olives, lemon, olive oil, and micro greens.
Tyree’s Table also offers healthy smoothies, including their signature Helmet Catch smoothie. (Football fans will recognize the name as a reference to David’s famous Super Bowl XLII catch.) The Helmet Catch blends almond milk, strawberry, banana, blueberry, almond butter, maple syrup, blue spirulina, and camu camu.
About The Restaurant
Tyree’s Table is the family’s first restaurant venture. However, the couple formerly ran a juice bar at the same location. Future plans for the space include introducing new menu items and partnering with companies and businesses for creative events. Leilah would also like to use the restaurant and their reach to provide more resources and education about healthy eating. “Our goal is to make eating not just healthy but easier to live out day to day,” Leilah says.
