Rock the BBQ Festival in Hoboken

Bringing together 20 barbecue masters, five dessert chefs, 20 various artisans, Rock the BBQ took place on Saturday, October 25th. The festival featured five local bands and countless dedicated music and food lovers at Pier A Park in Hoboken.

Sinatra Drive was drenched in the aroma of BBQ and the sounds of rock. Food trucks and stands dominated half of the park; giving patrons a chance to sink their teeth into some of the tenderest pork this country has to offer. Festival-goers got to sample unique styles of BBQ, unique sauces, and creative desserts. Visitors let their senses guide them to food trucks camped on the edge of the Hudson River; enjoying menu items such as a pulled pork sandwich or a rack of ribs underneath the falling leaves.

Music Acts at Rock the BBQ

NJ Events: BBQ

Rock the BBQ welcomed a host of local bands to the stage. The Blue Vipers of Brooklyn, The Matt Wade Band, The Matt O’Ree Band, and Jeremy Beck & The Heavy Duty Horns all played outstanding rock & roll sets throughout the weekend.

Families and friends alike bundled up and camped on the grass with picnic blankets and BBQ, enjoying the music. Of course, Moonbounces, video games, and various other activities were set up in the park for children; meanwhile, adults had the option to visit one of the multiple stands selling beer. To finish off the action-packed Saturday, there was a fireworks show at night.

Sponsored by many supporters, like 105.5 WDHA, News 12 New Jersey, and even Ford, Rock the BBQ delighted Pier A Park. With the phenomenal food, music, and activities Rock the BBQ brought this year, New Jersians will be patiently waiting for its much-anticipated return next year.
