The restaurant aims to be a cheese lover’s dream, even nicknaming itself “Cheese Heaven”, in fact. Cheese seems to run through the foundation itself, as the eatery replaces Steve’s Grilled Cheese.
The 800-square foot spot aims to “offer a convenient family dining experience for seasonal tourists and local residents” alike; so says Tim Janicki, a brand and marketing consultant who is working with OC Grilled Cheese & Quesadilla Co. Indoors, they can seat 46 (when running at full capacity). Meanwhile, outdoors you’ll find six four-top tables with umbrellas.

Owner Drew Reilly boasts an extensive background in the hospitality industry. For instance, he owns the Blue Water Hotel and Ocean Breeze Hotel, both of which are in Ocean City. Likewise, Head Chef Enrique Vasquez has been running kitchens for 10 years; the aforementioned Steve’s Grilled Cheese as well as Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill in Atlantic City among them.

The menu offers seven types of cheeses: white American, yellow American, muenster, cheddar jack, provolone, pepper jack, and Swiss. Of course, their grilled cheeses are the menu highlight; so far, the classic grilled cheese is a hit, but the four-cheese grilled cheese is a signature item.
