The meaning behind the name of Keepers in Harrison is twofold. The moniker pays homage to the position of goalkeeper in soccer and remembers something or someone worth holding onto. The neighborhood hub is a newly-developed property next to Sports Illustrated Stadium, home of the NY Red Bulls team.
Keepers seats 80 to 100 diners across two dining rooms in addition to high tops, a bar, and couch areas. Their private event space fits up to 50 guests. “Keepers is designed to be more than just a restaurant; it’s where the neighborhood connects,” says Daniel Orrison of Episcope Hospitality. “We’ve created a place where people come together, whether for pre-game meals, post-work cocktails, or a catch-up with friends.”

Comfort Food Offerings
The menu showcases elevated American comfort food. Popular options include a hot honey chicken sandwich, steak frites, soft pretzel Bites, and a classic wedge salad. But Daniel’s favorite dishes are the short rib birria tacos, pan-roasted salmon, and tandoori style chicken. In the mornings, swing by their coffee window for espresso, signature iced teas, and other beverages.

Their fully-stocked bar has an array of craft cocktails, plus curated beer and wine options. Standout options range from the spicy cucumber margarita and Hugo Spritz to the OG signature cocktail. (A mix of tequila, suze, lime, pineapple shrub, and egg).
Besides dinner, early morning beverages, and drinks, Keepers is a lively spot for events. For instance, Wednesdays is Locals Night with $5 drafts, $8 spritzes, and 20% off all food for residents. Likewise, Thursday is Throwback Thursday with old-school tunes and a rotating menu of specialty cocktails. Fridays feature a live DJ, while Saturday is happy hour from 9:00 pm to Midnight. Finally, Sunday is Weekend Revival themed, with $12 bloody Marys, mimosas, and espresso martinis.
