There’s no shortage of places to get cannolis in New Jersey. In fact, the fried and crisp pastry wrap stuffed with ricotta filling and chocolate chips seems impossible to miss. But Holy Cannoli! Cannoli Bar & Gelateria in Haddon Township serves traditional cannoli with a twist.
The dessert shop uses all natural, real ingredients to create fresh and flavorful cannolis. In fact, Owner Kristine DiCrosta introduces new flavors each month to keep things “fun, innovative, and customizable.” On top of original fillings and fun toppings, Holy Cannoli also offers specialty “shells”.

Unique Desserts & Specialty Cannolis
Top sellers at Holy Cannoli include cookie sandwiches filled with cannoli or gelato and rolled in any choice of toppings. The Dannoli is also a big hit. This original dessert fills and tops a donut with cannoli cream and toppings of choice. Meanwhile, their Cannoli Holeys are donut holes with cannoli filling available in a three, five, 10, or 35 count.
But Kirstine’s favorite item is the cannoli sundae. “Imagine a sundae but with cannoli filling,” she says. This dessert features three scoops of any cannoli filling, dry toppings or drizzles on top, whipped cream, and a cherry. It also comes with a side of cannoli chips for dipping. “It’s such a fun way to eat a deconstructed cannoli with the added treats from the sundae toppings.”

In addition to cannoli, Holy Cannoli serves pastries, bagels, toast options, housemade lemon-ginger shots, and a full coffee menu.
About Holy Cannoli! Cannoli Bar & Gelateria
The 1,800-square ft Holy Cannoli can seat 24 inside in addition to sidewalk seating with tables. “The inside decor is like a modern ice cream shop. Clean and crisp with our branded colors throughout (white and a custom mint green),” Kristine explains.
The idea for her dessert shop came while studying abroad in Italy. Kristine quickly fell in love with cannoli and the local cafes. Once home, she began making homemade traditional cannoli in 2020, eventually adding fruits, vegetables, and spices to the cannoli cream. Besides the NJ location, Holy Cannoli also has a shop in Philadelphia.

Future plans include hosting workshops to teach participants how to make cannoli. Kristine also plans on collaborating with some local businesses, expanding her product line, and offering wholesale items.
