Capturing moments for social media is all the rage these days. From food photos to pics of that crazy girls’ night out, everyone is looking to snap a viral pic. Now, a new spot in Paramus provides the perfect backdrop(s) for your greatest selfie ever. In fact, The Floral Escape presents floral themed installations for photo ops of all kinds.
The Floral Escape in New Jersey began as a pop up at the Westfield Garden State Plaza mall. But when the idea attracted over 6,000 guests in just a few weeks, the creators knew they were onto something. “It was then we knew that we needed to plant roots in NJ,” says co-founder Azizan Ali. Now, the business has its first permanent location as a 5,000-square-foot selfie center.

Flowering Fun at The Floral Escape
The Floral Escape offers 10 blooming installations for floral photo ops. Guests book an hour time slot, then take as many photos as they like. These photo installations include a floral phone booth, which Ali says is the most popular one so far; as well as a blossoming rose garden, sunflower field, and more. Tickets cost $25 for adults, $15 for children ages 2-12, and children under 2 are free. Click here to reserve tickets.
Of course, their backdrops are great for more than just casual social media selfies. The luscious landscapes also work for baby announcements, maternity shoots, proposals, graduation pics, and other milestone moments. The team prides themselves on designing unique experiences that transport guests to places where happiness blooms. They believe in creating memorable moments that captivate the heart and stimulate the mind.
Staging the Perfect Selfie
The Floral Escape lets you pose, snap, and post your images online easily. “Who doesn’t love a good selfie,” adds co-founder Laila Ahmed. “At TFE, we strive to provide our guests with a place in which they can blossom; a place with more flowers than they could have ever imagined in one space; a place just for them to capture life’s most precious moments.”
In addition, all of the installations were created by The Floral Escape’s production team. The business also has a location in New York City at the Queens County Farm Museum; however, their next permanent location is coming to Miami in the near future.
