Chic Week Spring Event Comes to Fort Lee Town Center

Fashion lovers, rejoice! Chic Week is coming to the Fort Lee Town Center, thanks to the Business District Alliance of Fort Lee (BDA). The week-long event runs from May 6 to May 11. Overall, about 30 retail businesses like jewelers, spas and beauty salons will be offering special discounts during the week.

Additionally, with Mother’s Day around the corner, Chic Week offers the chance to pick up the perfect gift for mom.

Stuart Koperweis, executive director of the Fort Lee BDA, thinks the event shows off what makes Fort Lee great. “It’s a program that helps promote chic businesses in Fort Lee to support Mother’s Day,” he says. “It allows consumers to grab different discounts.”

Chic Week Brings Fashion Deals to Fort Lee Town Center

Koperweis wants people to know Fort Lee’s thriving Town Center boasts a unique mix of shopping, dining and services. “You can get the total experience in Fort Lee,” he explains. “People can come to Fort Lee and get a variety of foods and experience retail that they can’t get in other municipalities.”

The businesses taking part in Chic Week are offering special deals or discounts on purchases. In addition, select retail boutiques will hold self-hosted trunk shows. As for the deals and discounts, they include 30% off all sunglasses at Pink Vision Associates; then there’s a deal for 20% off selected items at Kiky Jewelers; otherwise, you can get a free gift for visiting or booking a service worth $20 at Juun Hair. Of course, this is just a sample of what Chic Week has to offer. (Click here for the full list of deals.)

However, Chic Week is only one of the many special events Fort Lee’s Town Center hosts. Particularly, the BDA holds six retail programs throughout the year. For example, they held “Frosty Hour” specials this past winter, featuring discounts on services at participating businesses. In fact, they plan to do a similar program this summer. “Retailers get a great response,” Koperweis explains.

The Fort Lee BDA is a nonprofit organization, in partnership with the borough of Fort Lee, which aims to revitalize and promote the Main Street Shopping Corridor. “Our goal is to help retailers grow,” says Koperweis. “We want to make people aware that it’s a great thing to be able to walk to the town center.”
