Longevity Veterinary Center Offers One-Stop Pet Care

Pet owners know that caring for an animal is a full-time job. So when it comes to healthcare, pets need doctors who will treat them like family. Longevity Veterinary Center in Whippany provides everything pets need—from healthcare to food to emergency medicine—all under one roof.

The team at Longevity Veterinary Center has a simple goal: To give pets and pet owners as many healthy and worry-free years together as possible. Their 15,000-square foot, state-of-the-art facility boasts 11 exam rooms, a surgery center, and a dental clinic. They also provide dedicated rooms for specific holistic therapies like acupuncture, and have an open treatment area and doctors’ station.

Pet Care Means Caring About Pets

One reason Longevity Veterinary Center stands out is they are an independent and family-owned business. This allows them to treat pets like family, giving them not just the treatment, but love and compassion they require. “Nothing makes us happier than to be able to help pets heal or stay healthy,” says Dr. Gerald Buchoff, owner and founder. They offer conventional and integrative/holistic care including standard wellness care, sick visits, and full surgical capabilities.

Five doctors of veterinary medicine are on staff, and clinic hours are available seven days a week. Meanwhile, their integrative veterinarians provide treatments using therapies such as chiropractic, stem cell, cold laser therapy, homeopathy, and microbiome replacement therapy (MBRT).

In addition to extensive healthcare services, Longevity Veterinary Center offers pet grooming and non-anesthetic dentistry on site. They even sell their own food line developed by Dr. Buchoff called Longevity.

The center treats pets of all kinds, not just dogs and cats. Some of the more exotic animals they care for include birds, reptiles, ferrets, rabbits, hedgehogs, and pigs.

Future plans for the center include adding boarding for pet clients, as well as sports rehabilitation and therapy. They will soon add hyperbaric oxygen therapy to their list of services as well.
