President and Founder Brandon Melloy launched Chop Box through Green Tree Packing; a company supplying meat and seafood to premier restaurants, country clubs, wedding venues, and other Tri-state area establishments. Through Chop Box, he now provides the same restaurant-quality products directly to consumers. “Being in the meat business my whole life, I’ve always had access to the best quality meat. I wanted to make that available to the public.” Brandon says.

Chop Box Delivery Options
Chop Box is not a subscription service, so there is no commitment. Simply shop their products as needed. Customers can order anytime, as often as they like, and each order is delivered overnight via UPS. “We offer fast delivery of high quality products at a great value,” Brandon says. In fact, each item is individually vacuum packed, and shipped in an eco-friendly insulated box with dry ice. Orders are then delivered in as little as 24 hours after checkout.
Popular items include their Steakhouse burgers, Faroe Island salmon, filet mignon, and new Triple Blend Meatball Mix. The latter is 2 lbs. of blended pork, beef, and veal ideal for making either meatballs or one large meatloaf. Other Chop Box standouts include NJ day boat sea scallops, local Amish chicken party wings, and Long Island pekin duck breasts. In particular, Brandon’s favorite option is the Elite Prime NY strip steak. “It’s unbelievably juicy and tender, probably the best steak of your life,” he says.
High Quality, High Standards
Chop Box exclusively cultivates relationships with farms that value sustainable farming practices and produce quality products. They taste test every product that they offer to ensure it meets the Chop Box Standard. “We take pride in sourcing the highest quality product,” Brandon says. Products are cut daily by their own expert butchers and fish mongers. In addition, they age all beef in-house for at least 21 days.
As for their own footprint, all Chop Box packaging materials are fully recyclable and all shipments are 100% carbon neutral. They also offer a satisfaction guarantee, saying “We guarantee that this will be… The Best Meat You Will Ever Eat!”. They prioritize customer satisfaction, and actively encourage patrons to contact them with any inquiries or issues they may have. Future plans include expanding the menu and variety of products, and adding a membership program with exclusive member benefits.
