Shad Fest

Shad Fest is one of our Top 50 Events in New Jersey. This is our photo documentary of the sights, sounds and tastes of Shad Fest. If you’re interested in going to the festival be sure to wear some good walking shoes (you are going to have to walk a long way from your car to the festival or you’ll need to take one of the shuttles, some water and some money (you’re going to find some things you just gotta have).

The festival is slated to go on rain or shine. There’s a full schedule of concerts scheduled for tomorrow and the famous Lambertville Shad Festival Poster Auction starts at 3:00 PM in the afternoon. The proceeds from the poster auction go towards a scholarship fund. More story after the pics.

A Photo Guide to Shad Fest

Don’t Miss This Event

Featured in the photo montage is the arts and crafts show, the corporate displays, the educational displays, the food vendors in the bank parking lot, the street scenes along North Union, South Union and Klines Court, the wolf display, the kids corner section of the festival in the parking lot along North Union, and a group of musicians at what was billed as Shack Fest 2010 that I did not get the name of, and a couple of street musicians in front of one of my favorite stores in Lambertville, the Chocolate Box.

Shad Fest or ShadFest is held annually in the latter part of April in Lambertville, New Jersey on the Delaware River. Lambertville is located in the western part of Hunterdon County in Central New Jersey. The festival is staged by the local chamber of commerce.
