The Super Pet Expo is returning to the Garden State, bringing residents of the tri-state area three straight days of “wild” fun. The exposition once again aims to “unite pet owners and animal lovers” as it visits the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center in Edison from Friday, February 10 through Sunday, February 12.
The event features more than 200 exhibits of unique pet products and services as well as entertainment, food and fun activities for children, families and other animal lovers.
A Super Showcase for Super Pets
Of course, the Super Pet Expo has no shortage of attractions including dock diving by the Ultimate Air Dogs; a fully enclosed 250-foot doggie luring course for dogs that love to chase; then there’s Rizzo’s Reptile Discovery and an Extreme Reptiles Exhibit with cobras, giant pythons, boa constrictors, anacondas, vipers and more. Guests can also “walk the rainforest” with Lonely Grey Rescue; or listen to Vinneo Reo as he dispels the myths and legends of wolves.
“The Pet Lady,” Dana Humphrey, will also attend, revealing to guests the top five coolest products for your furry friends. Pet communicator Suzanne Fisher, who has more than 20 years of experience communicating with animals, is scheduled to be at the expo all weekend, offering complimentary five-minute consultations. Plus, for everyone looking to create healthier meals for their pets, Dr. Judy Morgan is offering cooking demonstrations as she presents nutrition options to diversify any pet’s diet.
Just like previous expos, this year’s event offers pet adoptions as well as low-cost micro-chipping and vaccinations; both are courtesy of the New Jersey Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
The first day of the Super Pet Expo runs from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The event is open from 10:00 am – 7:00 pm on Saturday and from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm on Sunday. Tickets are $13 for adults, $8 for kids (ages 4-to-12), and free for kids under four-years-old. Tickets are available online or at the venue. As always, leashed pets are welcome, but retractable leashes are not permitted.
