The Best Pics from Great Adventure's Fright Fest

Great Adventure knows how to make guests scream. After all, this is the amusement park that’s home to Kingda Ka, the tallest and fastest roller coaster in North America. But during October, the Six Flags park in Jackson makes guests scream in a different way — bloodcurdling, terrified screams, thanks to the park’s annual Halloween celebration, Fright Fest.

For those who’ve never been, Fright Fest is a macabre park-wide takeover, offering haunted houses, roaming costumed ghouls, and the chance to ride the park’s gravity-defying roller coasters in the dark. (Haunted houses are an additional ticketed fee.) It’s also a chance to get up close and personal with the creatures that haunt your nightmares — for that perfect Facebook profile pic. Take a look at what’s in store with the best photos shared from thrill-seekers and selfie-takers … at your own risk!
