Neither rain nor snow nor blazing heat can keep golfers from getting in their swings at West End Golf Club. The spot in Rutherford offers premium golf simulator bays in an atmosphere that welcomes both beginners and pros alike.
“Our mantra is FORE EVERYONE,” says West End Golf Club Co-Owner Brian Miceli, a golf enthusiast and entrepreneur. “We focus on providing an incredible indoor experience where golfers of all levels can fall in love with the game; and develop their skill set. We want to create a local golf community versus your standard get in/get out practice facility.”

The Golf is Simulated, But the Fun is Real
The 2,100-square foot space is a fun and engaging place to improve skills, compete against friends, and enjoy golf. “The decor is clean and modern with a mix of new and vintage golf art and photographs,” Brian says. “Our goal is to promote a laidback and welcoming vibe. The personality of golf has expanded so much over the last few years. We hope to be a part of that forward movement for the game.”
The key differentiator for West End Golf Club is their technology, says Co-Owner Corey Wootton. He is a former NFL player turned real estate investor and sports broadcaster. In particular, they use a camera-based system called Uneekor. The software provides immediate feedback of club information, swing impact, and also records video. “This feature is unlike any simulator in close proximity,” Corey says.

Their focus on the aforementioned welcoming atmosphere is another point of pride for West End Golf Club. “Golf is not easy,” says Co-Owner Adam Gross, a former attorney now in the tech space. “It’s essential for those who are new to the game to feel comfortable in the environment. WEGC is an intimate, non-intimidating setting that allows golfers of all skill levels to fall in love with the game.”
Other Accommodations
Each simulator bay at West End Golf Club has its own beverage refrigerator. Guests are also welcome to bring their own food. They even have a partnership with Ferazzoli’s Italian Kitchen, a local pizzeria, offering delivery and a discount on orders. Of course, guests don’t have to be avid golfers to visit, relax, and have fun. “We hope to create a comfortable and welcoming space at each bay with our custom counters/seating,” Adam says. “We also always try to have the music going and the big sporting events playing on our TVs. Come for the golf, stay for the vibe.”

WEGC offers daily simulator rentals, private lessons, and membership packages (monthly, six-month, and 12-month options). They also host events like parties and fantasy drafts. “Rutherford is a great town with a strong community feel,” Brian says. “We absolutely love the town and that we are able to give back to the community with WEGC.”
