There’s a new gift shop in Westwood that brings Jersey Shore vibes to Bergen County. Although The Good Life Gift Boutique only carries a small assortment of beach-themed items, customers say the store has a “beachy” vibe. “It’s just a fresh and fun store,” says Owner Nancy Norton.
Nancy describes the gift boutique as being the place to go to find hostess and birthday gifts; in addition to personal gifts including on-trend clothing, accessories, and jewelry as well as home items. “My goal is to always have that gift for yourself or someone else that is perfect,” Nancy says.

One-of-a-Kind Gifts at The Good Life Gift Boutique
The Good Life Gift Boutique is a great spot to find unique women’s clothing, accessories, and jewelry. Lines including Maruitius Leather Jackets, Zaket & Plover Sweaters as well as Julie Vos and Freida Rothman Jewelry are part of the collections. The play on colors and patterns, the feel and beauty of these items create “winners” for customers. “Our product lines are different – with an international uniqueness,” Nancy explains. “I don’t buy it (for the store) if I don’t love it.”
The home collections offered by The Good Life Gift Boutique include picture frames, barware, serveware, kitchen towels with humor or zip codes on them, and other decor items.
Nancy loves the in-store experience because she can personally connect with customers and different area organizations. “The concept is about being there and serving the community…I love what I do and I just want the customers to have a great shopping experience.”
The Good Life Gift Boutique also has an online store, which includes most of what is sold in-store plus more. This allows customers to shop their way – in-store, online, or calling and speaking with Nancy about product details. Nancy also works hard to bring the in-store experience to her e-commerce site. “We’re here to provide the customer with the info they need to feel confident with their selections. It’s nice to have someone who can pull the product and knows the feel, quality and fit.” Nancy will even snap a picture of any item and text it to a customer for clarification. “We want you to love everything you buy from The Good Life Gift Boutique.”
About the Owner
Nancy loves being part of the Westwood community. When not at the boutique, the Allendale resident spends time with her family and rescued cocker spaniels. Shore residents will recognize The Good Life Gift Boutique from its previous 16-year tenure on Long Beach Island. But Nancy wanted to bring the business closer to home, deciding on Westwood as the perfect location.
