The Bunny Hive is a Mommy & Me Social Club in Hoboken

Social clubs aren’t just for adults any longer. The Bunny Hive in Hoboken is a social club for little ones – ages two weeks to kindergarten – and their grownups. The club offers 13 age-appropriate classes that rotate every hour, six days a week. That’s in addition to social events and pop-up workshops for grownups.

Classes at The Bunny Hive are designed for parents to enjoy with their children. Options include baby art, music, sensory, ballet, baby massage, culinary exploration, story time, exploratory play, books and bubbles, and more. Studio Owner Michelle Vigder encourages members to come 30 minutes before and stay 30 minutes after to maximize their enjoyment.

Don’t Forget Daddy

“They’re all my favorite class, but you can’t beat how peaceful our littlest members look during baby massage; or our custom chef’s coat that our littles wear during our culinary class,” Michelle says. The Bunny Hive also hosts a special “Dad and Little” class every Saturday. “It’s an excuse for dads to get out and make a new friend at The Bunny Hive while enjoying some one-on-one time with their little.”

Guests don’t have to be a member to attend classes. That’s because The Bunny Hive offers single session and bulk class packs. But “The Membership” is their signature service. Membership provides unlimited classes per month, complimentary pop-ups, and 50% off seasonal events. All prices are per family and include any caretaker.

Coat Hanger

“The Bunny Hive is loved for its warm culture that prioritizces inclusivity, its aesthetically beautiful space, and its engaging classes and events that facilitate meaningful connections,” Michelle explains.

About The Bunny Hive

Michelle and her husband, Nick, are both Wisconsin natives who moved to Hoboken seven years ago. “Now two kids and a business later, it’s safe to say we call Hoboken home.”

After Michelle became a mom, she wanted something like The Bunny Hive. “Combining my diverse backgrounds with my favorite role—a mom—has created the perfect storm,” she says. “I wanted somewhere that built and fostered community, while offering developmental classes for littles. It’s almost unheard of to have classes almost every hour on the hour, six days a week.”

Kids Play Area

Michelle has high hopes for the business, which is available for event rentals such as birthday parties or baby showers. “I want The Bunny Hive Hoboken to be a part of family stories,” she says. “I want littles growing up knowing they came to class at The Bunny Hive. And to know that families found lifelong friends.”
