The truth about going to the dentist is that nobody really looks forward to it, especially kids. But a new pediatric dentistry spot in Ramsey is chomping at the bit to change that feeling. At her new practice – Joie Pediatric Dentistry – Dr. Sabrine Obbad, MSc, DDS is creating a positive space for children.
The office is housed in a historic movie theater. To keep this spirit alive, Joie Pediatic Dentistry has a movie theater theme that mixes modern and art deco style. Each of the eight treatment rooms and spacious waiting room have a distinct look and feel to them. “I chose Ramsey because I’m in love with the town and there was a need for a pediatric dentist to serve the community,” says Dr. Obbad, a board-certified pediatric dentist.

Service with a Smile
Joie Pediatic Dentistry offers pediatric dental services designed to grow with a child, from their first tooth through teenage years. Comprehensive exams include cleanings, fluoride treatments, and digital X-rays. Dr. Obbad believes in minimally invasive care with a heavy focus on prevention. For instance, she offers white crowns (instead of silver ones).
“I find immense joy and reward working with children,” she says. “Reshaping their experience at the dentist is an important role I play in their life. I can shape whether a child loves or hates the dentist, and I take that VERY seriously. Oral health is so important, and the lifelong habits children develop start in my chair.”
