Happy Cat Hotel Provides the Ultimate Lap of Luxury

For felines who deserve demand the best, Happy Cat Hotel & Spa is a luxury hotel and spa designed exclusively for cats. The Fair Lawn location offers cat-exclusive boarding and grooming with a boutique luxury feel in a calm, stress-free environment.

The 3,300-square foot space can accommodate about 100 cats at full capacity. Happy Cat Hotel & Spa is cage-free and kitty-condo-free. Instead, every guest stays in a private suite with 7-foot ceilings, climbing features, and privacy options. Their standard suites accommodate up to three cats from the same household. Meanwhile, deluxe and luxury suites can accommodate up to five cats.

A-Meow-Zing Suites

One guest favorite luxury suite is “Pawsitano”, which is inspired by Lauren Vecchione’s honeymoon in Positano, Italy. Lauren is the owner of the Fair Lawn location of Happy Cat Hotel & Spa. “Costa Rica Kitty” is another standout with its vibrant, tropical design. But “Atlantic Kitty Boardwalk” is especially meaningful to Lauren. “It reflects my South Jersey roots near Atlantic City,” she explains.

Of course, Happy Cat Hotel & Spa provides grooming services as well. A standard groom for cats of all coats includes a bath, blow-dry, face cleaning, and nail trim. They also do plush trims, lion cuts, and a few other grooming services. Boarding includes private suites, individualized daily enrichment, and daily reports emailed to pet parents with accompanying photos. Addition perks include webcams (complimentary for first-time guests) and room service three times per day.

About Happy Cat Hotel & Spa

Staff members are specifically trained in feline behavior. “This isn’t a boarding facility that simply accommodates cats,” Lauren assures. “it was built entirely for them. We’re completely cat-exclusive, and every detail—from suite design to enrichment—is centered around feline comfort and behavior.”

Lauren’s cat of 17 years, Chloe, inspired her to open the spot. “I never truly felt peace of mind when I traveled,” Lauren recalls. In particular, finding someone to provide specialized care for Chloe after she developed kidney disease became difficult. “That experience made me realize there was a real need for a place designed specifically for cats in North Jersey. Where their health, comfort, and routines are genuinely understood and prioritized.”

Music City Kitty

Now, cat parents can travel without stress, knowing their kitties are safe, loved, and looked after.
