#1 in Cherry Hill:
La Cita Mexican Restaurant

Where: 911 Marlton Pike
Details: Anyone looking for an authentic taste of Mexico in South Jersey usually winds up at La Cita. That’s because this family-owned restaurant is proudly committed to sharing the recipes and traditions of their culture with customers. Their menu is bursting with popular items, including apps like empanadas, flautas, and Queso Fundido. Locals also love their taco selection, with eight different options to order. When it comes to entrees, we recommend either the Carne Asada or classic Molcajetes (served in a heated lava bowl).

#2 in Cherry Hill:
Dolsot House

The "Koagie" Korean Hoagie from Dolsot House

Where: 404 Marlton Pike East, Cherry Hill
Details: Dolost House is Cherry Hill’s go-to spot for authentic Korean cuisine. The star of the menu is of course their sizzling Korean BBQ. (Which is why we already included them in our 2025 list of NJ’s Best Korean BBQ Restaurants.) Favorite grilled meats from customers include Spicy Pork Bulgogi, L.A. Kalbi (marinated beef short ribs), and Beef Bulgogi. The restaurant is also popular for their Bibimbap and Omelet Fried Rice (with either beef, chicken, shrimp, or veggies). But there’s more to this spot than just traditional Korean favorites; they also offer innovative twists on American meals. For instance, the “Koagie” is a Korean hoagie featuring tender, boneless KBBQ and Korean sesame slaw on a sesame roll. We recommend trying one with either their signature Beef Bulgogi or spicy chicken. The restaurant boasts a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes it equally compelling for romantic dinners and family gatherings alike. In the mood for Korean fried wings? Dolsot is great for that, too.

#3 in Cherry Hill:
Farm & Fisherman Tavern

Where: 1442 Marlton Pike
Details: This tavern & market combo is the town’s go-to spot for house-made meats, cheeses, and baked goods. Owners Josh & Colleen Lawler actually first launched the concept in Philadelphia before bringing it to New Jersey. (In partnership with Chef Todd Fuller.) Their expansive menu of brunch, lunch, and dinner includes innovations like mushroom lasagna, lamb shawarma, and Corn & Crab Toast. But we recommend the Crab & Shrimp Canneloni. The market is also a great place to grab condiments, coffee, and beer.

#4 in Cherry Hill:
Steak 38

Steak 38 Prepared steaks

Where: 515 NJ-38 E
Details: Steak 38 invites patrons to envision a classic steakhouse re-imagined for the modern era. Their top-notch service extends to signature tableside preparations of their popular Caesar Salad and Bananas Foster Flambe. The latter is a feast for the eyes as much as the stomach. To prepare this signature dessert, ripe bananas are sliced and sautéed in a skillet with butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. (This creates a rich caramel sauce.) Then, light rum and banana liqueur are added and ignited in a dramatic flambé, lightly caramelizing the bananas. Finally, the warm, boozy sauce is poured over vanilla ice cream for a decadent finish. As for the main menu, of course their signature selections of steaks are the primary attraction. From the popular Prime Rib and Filet Mignon to Ribeye and Steak Diane, they offer all the most popular cuts. But we recommend the tried-and-true Surf & Turf; which pairs a hand cut 8oz filet with a 10oz lobster tail. Seafood fans will also love the award-winning crabcakes.

#5 in Cherry Hill:
Caffe Aldo Lamberti

Where: 2011 Marlton Pike
Details: Caffe Aldo Lamberti is rapidly approaching a milestone 40-year anniversary. The quintessential Italian restaurant of South Jersey is known for fresh fish, an impressive wine list, and house-made pastas. Locals love their traditional menu featuring favorites like Eggplant Napoletana, Seafood Cioppino, and Chicken Paesano with hot cherry peppers. Their fresh, whole fish filleted tableside is also a unique experience. We recommend the Acqua Pazza (“Crazy Water”), a fish filleted in garlic, lemon, mint, and white wine.
