Tap & Bitters Brings NOLA Cuisine to Warren

There’s a new spot in Somerset County where patrons can enjoy signature southern cuisine. Taps & Bitters in Warren is a New Orleans-inspired restaurant and bar concept. It features a contemporary take on Cajun cuisine, craft beers, and cocktails.

The 2,000-square-foot restaurant can seat 90 guests at communal seating areas, benches, and low-set tables. There is also a patio surrounded by greenery and bistro lights which remains open as weather permits. New Look, New Menu

Taps & Bitters was formerly TAP Gastropub, and is still located within the Somerset Hills Hotel. After a renovation, the restaurant now has a new look and brand new menus. Some staples from the former restaurant will remain on the new menu, however. This includes their tap line with local craft beers, and the Tap burger.

The menu also updates seasonally, with a focus on incorporating fresh ingredients and sourcing local produce and products wherever possible. Menu highlights include Cajun broiled oysters, gumbo, Cajun chicken, fried chicken po-boy, Louisiana chicken wings, Caribbean tacos, and jambalaya.
