If you’re looking for a new restaurant that offers “great food, awesome service, at a fair price,” you’re in luck. That just so happens to be the motto of Stacks on 38 in Moorestown. Stacks is a family owned, family operated, and family friendly restaurant serving breakfast, brunch, and lunch.
Co-owner Jeff Cruger says he knows you can get these meals at other locales. Still, Stacks’ service and food sell themselves. “I think our service is top notch. We pride ourselves on that,” he says. “We’re happy to serve you and greet you.” He feels that people won’t return to a restaurant with good food but poor service.

Stacks on 38 can seat up to 220 guests indoors when at full capacity. But don’t worry, they won’t let a single person leave hungry. “People always tell us that we give too much food,” says Cruger. “Our portions are a good size. We don’t hand measure what we’re giving you.”
The owners have a combined 100-plus years of experience in the restaurant industry. In addition, they are always on-site and take part in day-to-day operations. “There is always an owner in the kitchen and in the front to greet you,” says Cruger. “We’re invested in this place, watching it and caring about it.”
Stacks on 38 Serves Pancakes, Crepes, and More
Of course, the pancakes are king at Stacks on 38. “Stacks, like our name, means a short stack of pancakes,” Cruger explains. Pancake choices include basic, gluten free, banana walnut, chocolate chip, blueberry, and the popular banana Nutella. Cruger says his young daughter loves the Oreo crunch pancakes—buttermilk pancakes cooked with crushed Oreos and chocolate chips.
In addition, patrons who are craving crepes will find those as well. The Nutella banana and strawberry glazed options are popular so far. Both are topped with powdered sugar and whipped cream.
Meanwhile, for brunch or lunch, wraps like the Cajun shrimp are a hit. The Greek salad wrap – with grilled chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, green peppers, olives, and feta cheese – is also recommended. “Wraps are lighter and healthier,” Cruger says, explaining their popularity.
One final benefit to visiting Stacks on 38 is their bounce-back coupons. When you dine with them, you’ll get a 20% off coupon to use on a weekday visit. They also have a rewards club with coupons for first-time diners as well as a free birthday breakfast.
