Some Like it Hot
So what makes Nashville Hot Chicken so special? Typically, the chicken is prepared with a coating of hot sauce and hot spices like cayenne pepper. At Rooster’s, the exact preparation depends on how hot customers order their chicken. They serve wings, chicken sandwiches, and multi-piece tenders either naked, mild, medium, hot, extra hot, or on fire.
Popular menu items include the Nashville hot chicken sliders and chicken tenders. The latter comes in pieces of three, five, eight, 10, and 20. (They also offer a party size 50-piece tenders.), Another menu favorite is loaded fries, a combo of fries, mac and cheese, and chicken tenders with signature Rooster’s sauce. Their wings are available in quantities of five, 10, 20, or 50 as well. Vegetarian options include waffles, mac and cheese, coleslaw, pickles, and French fries.

How hot does the chicken at Rooster’s Nashville Hot Chicken get? Those playing it safe or looking for a just little heat can order them naked, mild, or medium. But those that want to feel the heat can order their wings hot or extra hot. The most daring of all can order their wings On Fire, which promises a toe-curling, sweat-producing heat.
