Mila’s of Seaside Puts Creative Spin on Brunch Favorites

The two-year-old Mila Maria Manganiotis is lively, kind, and beautiful. So it makes sense that she is the inspiration behind Mila’s of Seaside. This breakfast and brunch spot offers a mix of classic and creative dishes, as well as a full coffee bar.

“We’ve curated a space that’s bright and inviting. It’s filled with flowers and thoughtful details as well as great food that spreads joy and beauty, just like our Mila does,” says Mila’s of Seaside Owner Mikayla Manganiotis.

Unforgettable Brunch Flavors

Delightful menu creations range from strawberries and cream French toast (topped with homemade strawberry whipped cream) to churro waffles (cinnamon waffle topped with homemade churro whipped cream and drizzled with dulce de leche). The blueberry lemon ricotta pancakes are already a fan favorite. These buttermilk pancakes come topped with homemade blueberry reduction, lemon ricotta, and lemon zest. But Mikayla’s favorites are the chicken and waffles and their selection of avocado toasts.

Even the popular charcuterie board trend makes an appearance at Mila’s of Seaside. Their board includes mini pancakes, waffles, and French toast sticks. It’s also garnished with fresh fruit and comes with Nutella, syrup, chocolate sauce, and whipped cream.

Besides brunch, Mila’s boasts a full coffee bar. They serve espressos, matcha lattes, and unique concoctions like their iced s’mores latte. The latter combines espresso with whole milk, vanilla and mocha syrup, marshmallow fluff cold foam, mocha drizzle, and toasted marshmallow. The strawberry iced matcha is also a hit. For those who can’t decide what to try, the restaurant offers an iced latte flight with three varieties.

About the Restaurant

Open since April, Mila’s of Seaside can seat about 40 guests inside and about 32 outside on a covered sidewalk. The owners decorated and designed the entire space, down to the smallest details. Guests will find a pink flower wall in the main dining room, and additional flower accents throughout the space. One dining area is filled with antique gold frames, while the counter area has pink velvet and green velvet dining chairs. “We definitely brought chic and trendy vibes to Seaside,” Mikayla says.

Mikayla was born and raised in Toms River, which is five minutes from Seaside. Today, she and her husband, Johnny, live in Ocean County. The couple also own four Mr. Cupcake bakery locations (Brick, Clifton, Paramus, and Hawthorne).
