Fun, Seasonal Dishes
The menu at Mattar’s Bistro blends classic favorites with contemporary twists. Their seasonal menu rotates to keep things interesting all year long. The latest summer additions to the menu include seared sea scallops (with Grilled Squash, Jasmine rice and Lobster Thermidor sauce); rack of lamb (over cucumber, tomato, and goat cheese bruschetta, roasted or whipped potatoes, and demi glaze); and veal saltimbocca (with Spinach, Prosciutto, Hard-boiled egg, Fontina cheese, and Sage Garlic Wine Sauce). Other seasonal favorites include the shrimp-stuffed avocado, Roasted Beet & Endive Salad, and jumbo lump crab.
Meanwhile, menu staples include Mediterranean tapas (hummus, Baba Ghanoush, tomatoes, olive, and warm pita) and fried calamari. Mattar’s puts a unique spin on the latter by serving it with sweet chili and wasabi honey drizzle. Popular entrees include the braised short ribs, and scallop and shrimp risotto. Co-owner Mattar Mattar’s personal menu favorite is the rack of lamb paired with a glass of scotch. (The restaurant is owned by the three brother’s: Joseph Mattar, Elias Mattar, and Mattar Mattar.)

Speaking of Scotch, Mattar’s Bistro features a full bar with tequilas, gins, vodkas, single malt scotches, ports, cognacs, and bourbons. Not to mention their Insta-worthy, seasonal cocktails, which come in flavors like watermelon martini. They make this cocktail with fresh-squeezed watermelon, vodka, and lemon juice.
Other highlights include the strawberry basil lemonade (vodka, housemade basil simple syrup, strawberry puree, and lemonade), lavender lemon drop (vodka, housemade lavender simple syrup, lemon juice, and club soda), Hot Honey Bees Knees (gin, fresh lemon juice, and housemade hot honey), and watermelon margarita with Tajín rim.
In addition to their seasonal cocktails, Mattar’s Bistro just introduced a full mocktail menu as well.
