Chocolate Week Returns to LBI with Sweet Treats & Deals

New Jersey’s sweetest week is back for another year! The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce is once again hosting “Chocolate Week” for the Long Beach Island region. Beginning on February 11 and running through February 18, Chocolate Week will encompass both Valentine’s Day and President’s Day weekend this year.

The event, which features drink specials, open houses, themed menus and more, comes complete with chocolate in every form.

The entire LBI area will be getting in on the fun; for instance, many local businesses will offer specials and deals – all involving chocolate!

What To Expect From Chocolate Week

Those interested can kick off Chocolate Week by trekking along the Southern Ocean Made Surf & Sip Brew Trail, which spreads across the region and offers specialty brews that tie into the chocolate theme. It’s less of a bar crawl, and more of a brew-venture!

After your beer tasting journey, you can sit back and relax with a chocolate manicure, pedicure or facial at Bella Donna Salon in Manahawkin, or head to Surf City’s Beach House Spa for a couples massage, a wine & chocolate facial and a red velvet massage.

Of course, Chocolate Week wouldn’t be complete without some specials of the edible variety; Daymark Bar & Restaurant is offering specialty chocolate dessert items, while the Greenhouse Cafe has half off all chocolate items. The LBI Foundation is giving things a wintry spin and featuring a hot chocolate bar complete with plenty of toppings.

These are just a few examples, but many more LBI businesses are offering fabulous options for visitors during Chocolate Week! You can keep up with all of the specials and deals, along with a full vendors list, by checking the Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce’s website.
