While breakfast is said to be the most important meal of the day, many would call brunch the best one. In fact, brunch lovers typically have a go-to meal they most enjoy; be it eggs, pancakes, or French toast. But at Brunchaholics in Cherry Hill, guests will find unique twists on classic brunch dishes.
The 3,000-square foot eatery offers a “comfortable bar and family-style vibe,” according to franchisor Aaron Anderson. In particular, the black-and-white color scheme gives off a modern-urban style. Brunchaholics can seat 120 diners inside, with outdoor seating available during the summer. The original location is in Philadelphia, with Cherry Hill becoming the first location in New Jersey, and second overall.

A Bounty of Brunches
Brunchaholics specializes in southern fusion food to serve scratch-made breakfast, brunch, and lunch fare all day. The menu changes every 30 days, however, they always keep favorites and classics like their signature French toast cobbler.
Popular menu items include the “S.G.G.” – seafood gumbo and grits – which features lump crab, shrimp, and cornmeal fried fish. Another one customers rave about is the smoked short rib hash. This includes 12-hour braised short rib, potato hash, gouda, and sunny-side up eggs. As for the French toast cobbler, it comes with brioche bread, cookie crumble, bourbon apples, and vanilla butter. It also happens to be Aaron’s favorite dish.

Meanwhile, lunch items include steak and eggs, the jerk turkey burger, and jerk salmon cheesesteak.
About the Business
Brunchaholics is not Aaron’s first restaurant venture. His previous dining and franchise properties include Rita’s Italian Ice and The Original Hot Dog Factory. He also previously owned two locations of Chef Rube’s Kitchen. His co-franchisor, Terrance Clarke, brings nearly 30 years of restaurant experience to the business.
Brunchaholics is on track to expand aggressively, with 10 locations already in the planning and development stages. All of them are due to open within the next 12 months. For instance, they plan to introduce locations in Miami, Florida and Blue Bell, Pennsylvania.
