One of the trendiest treats at parties is the cake pop. This scrumptious sphere of cake on a stick delights children and adults alike. Of course, cake pops can be found at just about every market or big-box coffee shop. But for those looking for handcrafted cake pops baked with love, Brown’s Handcrafted Confections in Runnemede is the answer.
The 1,000-square foot shop showcases fresh treats and gifts made and sold by local crafters. Inside, Brown’s Handcrafted Confections has a rustic and vintage feel. “My mom (the owner) has a deep love for antiques and vintage pieces, and she incorporated many unique finds into the décor to bring that vision to life,” says Ariona Rose, VP of Operations. “The space feels warm and inviting, with a nostalgic charm that reflects the heart of our brand.”

One-of-a-Kind Creations
Each cake pop at Brown’s Handcrafted Confections is topped with unique candies and toppings. Cake flavors are carefully crafted to match their names, and feature popular options such as Orange Dream and S’mores. Orange Dream is a “nostalgic cake pop” reminiscent of enjoying an orange creamsicle down the Jersey Shore. Meanwhile, S’mores is a rich fudge graham cracker cake dipped in chocolate, rolled in graham crackers, and topped with marshmallow.
Owner Alisa Johnson’s favorite cake pop is the Peanut Butter Cookie Cake Pop, which Ariona prefers the Pecan Toffee Crunch. “Our cake pops are bold, rustic, and perfectly imperfect,” says Ariona. “Nothing my mom makes is simple or cookie-cutter. We take pride in offering handcrafted treats that are both visually stunning and full of flavor.”

While they don’t regularly stock gluten-free or vegan cake pops, they’re happy to accommodate special requests. They offer gluten-free and vegan orders by the dozen. They’re also available for delivery on Doordash.
