A black sheep is someone who is different. One that stands out from the crowd. That’s the ideology behind the food at Black Sheep Bar & Provisions in Garwood. The upscale, modern American menu uses unique, hand-selected ingredients from local producers and purveyors.
Black Sheep Bar & Provisions is a 2,300-square foot spot offering a “fresh, modern, upscale but casual setting.” That’s according to Daniel Meyer, CFO and co-owner. The restaurant can seat 65 guests inside and 25 diners on their seasonal sidewalk patio.

It’s All in the Preparation
Popular menu items include dry-aged steaks and the bone-in New York strip or ribeye. Fresh seafood offerings include scallops, salmon, and black bass. Seasonal desserts such as olive oil cake and maple syrup budino are made in-house.
But that’s not all. Black Sheep Bar & Provisions has a daily menu featuring seasonal items made with hand-selected, farm-to-table ingredients. Enjoy items like cornbread, fisherman’s stew, Chinese chicken wings, and the Colorado lamb burger.

Meanwhile, their drink options feature sommelier-selected wines and a classic cocktail menu with martinis, margaritas, and daiquiris. Drinks from the Daily Provisions menu include the Honey It’s Thyme, with gin, honey, herb thyme syrup, and lemon. Another popular option is the Blood, Smoke & Heat. This drink has mezcal, blood orange, ancho reyes verde, and bitters. Their daily Happy Hour kicks off at 3:00 pm.
