Hammonton Food Truck Festival

When: Saturday, June 9
Location: Egg Harbor Road, Hammonton
Details: The town of Hammonton will be hosting its 4th Annual Food Truck Festival. This year will feature even more delicious options than the years before. Attendees can stroll the downtown streets from 4:30 to 9:30 pm while sampling sweet treats from local favorites Sweet Creations by Jill Wong and Cannoli World. Don’t have a sweet tooth? Not to worry. How does the Mobile Mardi Gras Food Truck sound to you? Think brisket, catfish, shrimp and other tasty Creole dishes. Admission is free to this event, so come on down to enjoy food trucks, a beer garden and live music!
Why I like it: Self LOVE is a 100% vegan food truck, so you can eat items like mac & cheese or locally-sourced cauliflower risotto without the guilt!

Doubleday Food Truck Fest

When: Saturday, June 16
Location: Mendham Borough Park, Mountain Avenue & Park Avenue, Mendham
Details: Mendham Borough kicks off its year-long celebration of Abner Doubleday’s 200th birthday with a food truck and music festival, hosted by Just Jersey Fest. From 11:00 am to 7:00 pm enjoy fare from food trucks like The Flying Pie Guy, Angry Archie’s Bacon Me Crazy and more. Also on hand will be a beer and sangria garden to wet your whistle. Admission is $5 and kids under 10 are free. Like all Jersey Fest productions, festival goers are asked to bring a non perishable item to be donated to the local food pantry.
Why I like it: Kids will have fun too, with rock climbing, balloons and face-painting.

Atlantic City Food Truck Festival

When: Saturday & Sunday, June 23 & 24
Location: The Claridge Hotel, The Boardwalk & Park Place, Atlantic City
Details: Over 20,000 visitors are drawn to the annual food truck festival in Atlantic City. Your mouth will water as you peruse the menus from Nick’s Roast Beef, Empanada Guy, Dump-N-Roll, Tacoholics, Cheezen Beast of the Street and more. Cool off with some Pete’s Italian Ice or one of the dessert trucks. Bring the whole family down on Saturday from noon to 8:00 pm or Sunday from noon to 6:00 pm. With delicious eats, live bands and a cool ocean breeze, there’s no better way to spend a summer weekend in New Jersey.
Why I like it: It’s a great excuse to make a weekend out of it. Book a room at the Claridge and stay for both days of fun!

Anglesea Night Markets

When: July 5, July 19, August 2 and August 16
Location: Olde New Jersey Avenue, North Wildwood
Details: The Anglesea Night Market series returns for its third year with food trucks, crafters, live entertainment and family fun! For four nights during the heart of summer, you can taste the best local food the Jersey Shore has to offer. Plus, you’re within walking distance of the boardwalk. This event is sure to be a highlight of your beach vacation, so stop by from 4:00 to 10:00 pm and bring your appetite.
Why I like it: Bars and restaurants on Olde New Jersey Avenue will also have specials, so be sure to check them out, too!

TRUCKerton with a Side of Bacon

When: Saturday & Sunday, July 7-8
Location: Tuckerton Seaport, 120 West Main Street, Tuckerton
Details: Food trucks, live music, ice-cold craft beer and mini pig races are all on tap at this annual event. Stop by on Saturday from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm or Sunday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm to indulge. Admission is $10 or free for children under 5 and Tuckerton Seaport members, just one more reason to join the organization!
Why I like it: This isn’t just any old food truck festival – all food trucks will have bacon-inspired recipes on the menu. Bacon-lovers, rejoice!

Cheers in Chester Wine and Beer Festival

When: Saturday, July 21
Location: Municipal Field, 134 Main St, Chester
Details: Sample more than 100 craft brews and wines at Municipal Field this summer for an outside festival experience unlike any other. This unique event benefits the Chester First Aid Squad and takes place from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Along with unlimited samples of beer and wine, guests are treated to live music and a variety of food options. If you’re looking for new way to enjoy the summer sunset, you can purchase tickets to this event online. A general admission ticket costs $55. The event also offers the option of purchasing a designated driver ticket for $15. All attendees must be 21 or over to attend this festival.
Why I like it: Have no fear, experienced beer festival-goers – pretzel necklaces ARE allowed, even though no other outside food or drink is.

Parsippany Pop Up Food Fest

When: Saturday, July 21
Location: 7 Sylvan Way, Parsippany
Details: For just $5 per adult (free for children under 12), gain admission to a fun-filled day in Parsippany. Over twenty pop-up food tents will be on hand to make your stomach smile. There’s a beer and wine garden, live music from The Nerds and face-painting for the little ones. Keep checking the website for announcements on just which local vendors will be cooking up their specialties for all to enjoy.
Why I like it: The spacious lawn allows you to pack a blanket or chair and relax for the afternoon. Dogs are welcome!

Family Fun Day & Food Trucks

When: Sunday, July 29 & Saturday, August 11
Location: JCC Camps, 400 Tuckerton Road, Medford
Details: Slow things down with the family for a day of fun at the lake in Medford. This year there will be two separate events held at the JCC Camps at Medford from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Families will have the chance to swim in the lake and use paddle boats as well as enjoy the petting zoo, mini golf, volleyball, water slide, basketball, music and, of course, food trucks at the event. Both days are free for children four years old and younger while purchasing tickets at the door costs $10 for ages 5-15 and $22 for adults 16 and over.
Why I like it: If you’ve been thinking about joining the JCC, this event allows you to check it out for the day before committing to a membership.

Riverfront Food Truck Festival

When: Saturday, August 25
Location: Newark Riverfront Park, 726 Raymond Boulevard, Newark
Details: This second annual gathering of food trucks in Riverfront Park is hosted by LezEat Newark Food Tours. LezEat will take you through the city to sample the best local eats. This festival prides itself on having a wide variety of unusual and eclectic food offerings, including Latin, Caribbean, BBQ, Italian and more. Peruse the many tasty trucks from noon to 6:00 pm and why not enjoy a river boat tour while you’re there, too?
Why I like it: Kids will be entertained by the New York Red Bulls Freestyler Crew, which has been wowing audiences for years with its amazing soccer ball skills.

Food Truck Fest on The Ave

Location: Mini Parks, Landis Avenue & SW Boulevard, Vineland
Details: Delicious eats, a beer garden, kids games and activities, plus live music and entertainment means it’s time for the second annual food truck festival in Vineland. Over 10,000 people attended the town’s inaugural event and even more are expected this year. Stop by from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm to taste food from the dozen plus food trucks on the premises.
Why I like it: Admission is free, making this a budget-friendly way to spend a day with family or friends.
