Acquiring the business in 1999, Lisa and Michael Plociniak began to transform A Touch of Elegance into the floral & event design business it is today. Today, they are based in a state-of-the-art facility in Morris County, New Jersey. In addition, they have a secondary location in Somerset, NJ. A Touch of Elegance specializes in weddings as well as a variety of social and corporate events.
They import only the highest quality flowers and botanicals, which are then crafted by masterful designers into an impressive variety of interpretive designs. However, the design vision at A Touch of Elegance extends far beyond the use of flowers and botanicals. In fact, their expanded services allow them to design events that extend through entire venues. They create décor elements such as chuppas, arches, ornamental trees, decorative columns, crystal and hanging candle backdrops, and more. Their full service event design options include, but are not limited to, linens, lighting, furniture & props, etc.

Step 1 – Concept: Creating a custom look and style any event begins with the concept. It can be anything that inspires you. A pattern from fabric, a piece of jewelry, a color palette, your story as a couple, even your favorite flower. Truly anything can help start the vision process.
Step 2 – Collaboration: Once the team knows what inspires both of you, it’s time to collaborate. Together you’ll find the right elements and florals, bringing to life what you envisioned for your event. This is the fun stuff, picking colors, textures, vessels, and other elements to use in the design.
Step 3 – Customize: Every wedding should be unique to the couple. You give A Touch of Elegance the concept, they will make it your own. Together you’ll search their inventory and resources, or even custom make design elements, to create your signature vision.
Step 4 – Creation: An impeccable attention to detail is a team effort. The teams come together to make the magic happen. First, the design team brings your vision to life. Then, the logistic team makes sure everything gets where it needs to be. Finally, the event team executes your design, making sure that every element is perfect, and your events décor is flawless.
Step 5 – Completion: This is the best part. When you get to step back and take in the beautiful event you created together, from concept to completion. Seeing the end result and making their clients happy is their main goal.
