However, elements of its century-old status still remain. The restaurant boasts a warm, well-lit interior featuring glossy hardwood floors, rich wood trim and stunning exposed brick. Portions of the ceiling are beautifully detailed, and the furniture is simple yet comfortable.
An added perk at Max’s Seafood Café is the long tradition of live music. Every Friday night, beginning at 7:30, the live entertainment begins. This usually features Smash Palace or The Hooters. On Saturdays, other musicians take up their spots by the bar.
