Yoga Classes From Beginner to Master

For Yoga teachers, they offer a complete set of developmental and advanced courses. This includes yoga certification classes for new instructors and advanced courses for current teachers to expand their knowledge. In fact, they even offer classes for those who want to own their own yoga studio. “It’s a community-feeling studio,” says Patrick Franco, co-owner and yoga director. “We’ll make you feel at home.”

While there is no shortage of yoga studios in the area, YogaRenew having a physical space is a selling point. “One of our teachers said that when she came to YogaRenew, she felt elevated by teaching here,” Patrick says. “The physical space is uplifting. It has a positive and bright feeling right when you walk in.”

YogaRenew Hoboken is deliberately designed with “city” yogis in mind. The studio draws upon natural elements; creating an “inner-city oasis” with a Costa Rican tree root for a front desk, and rounded walls. The common area boasts a large rotunda with 30-foot-high ceilings covered in stained glass; as well as floor-to-ceiling windows offering a view of Manhattan. The space allows yogis to connect with one another before and after class. In particular, the state-of-the-art sound system and heated floors allow guests to relax and get comfortable.

Course Selection

YogaRenew offers a diverse collection of classes. For instance, popular offerings include vinyasa, align + refine, yin, mediation, and sound healing classes. “We have something for everyone,” says Patrick. Personally, he recalls gravitating towards physical classes during his early days practicing yoga to boost his flexibility and strength. Now, he enjoys more mellow classes such as meditative and sound healing classes. “We have an array of classes that can grow with you as your yoga practice evolves,” he adds.

Their focus on personal connection and inclusivity is also a standout benefit of YogaRenew. “I love my interaction with my students,” Patrick says. “Especially when they do something they’ve never dreamed of like a handstand or a crow pose. When they do it for the first time, it holds a lot of meaning. Everybody is drawn to yoga for something different, whether it’s the physical, spiritual, mental, social or emotional benefits. We’re thrilled to have a space where we can deliver a good experience no matter what you’re looking for.”
