Where: Cape May County Park & Zoo, 707 Route 9 North, Cape May Court House

Details: Party with the animals at this annual celebration featuring live music, nature hayrides, inflatables, an interactive drum circle, food and crafts. A 5K Earth Day Race and 1 Mile Fun Run precedes the festival at 8:30 am.

Daffodil Festival & Earth Day Fair

Where: Van Neste Memorial Park, East Ridgewood Avenue, Ridgewood

Details: “From Rain to Drain” is the theme of this year’s celebration. If in full bloom, the park will be adorned with over 19,000 beautiful daffodils! Environmental-focused vendors, as well as a festive parade, plant sale and children’s activities, round out the day’s activities.

Where: Environmental Education Center, 190 Lord Stirling Road, Basking Ridge
When: April 30 from 12 noon to 4:30 pm

Details: The search is on! Embark on a scavenger hunt adventure throughout the EEC trails, and find answers to questions about the Great Swamp and all of its inhabitants and resources. After the hunt, return to EEC for a visit with “The Butterfly Guy,” to learn about the Great Swamp’s beautiful butterflies and moths.
