Summer Adventures at Wardlaw + Hartridge
Wardlaw + Hartridge Summer Adventures offers programs for children ages 3 through grade 12. All camps combine an educational aspect along with summer camp fun. Each week has exciting themes and trips or events. Main camp offerings are a preschool camp for ages 3-6, an Adventure camp for grades 1-5 and a Teen Leadership Camp for grades 6-10. We also offer academic classes for grades 6-12 for credit or enrichment, and hands-on academic enrichment for grades 1-5.
The campus includes air-conditioned classrooms, an indoor pool, fully equipped gyms, art and STEM rooms, two playgrounds, two turf fields and 32 acres of playing fields, along with an air-conditioned modern lunchroom that serves daily hot and nutritious lunches.
There is a variety of other activities such as sewing, drama, tennis, soccer, ceramics, STEM, forensics and much more all within our own campus.
All camps include weekly themed activities, swimming, hot lunch and weekly trips or events!
The Camp Funshine program is designed to provide a nurturing, caring, and safe environment. The program promotes social development, creativity, and positive peer relationships. The campers engage in themed activities which include arts and crafts, cooking, center play, music and movement, circle time, STEM, swimming and outdoor play.
Adventures Day Camp is a unique camp where children will experience special adventures through many fun activities. Weekly themes will be explored through art, music, games, STEM, food tastings, and other theme related fun. The campers can also choose from chess, basketball , recreational games, soccer, and more.
Through the Teen Leadership Camp, learn to confront fears, take on leadership challenges, and learn that special talent or skill waiting to be discovered. Confidently express your independence using fun, active, and meaningful activities.
The Summer Scholars Program offers courses for enrichment, preview, or for full credit. All classes are taught by talented and experienced faculty in our fully air conditioned classrooms. Afternoon electives are also available.
