When Hurricane Sandy struck New York City and the surrounding areas, the Jersey Shore was slammed with pounding rain and fierce winds. Danny and Karen Picard, owners of Daniel’s Bistro, suffered along with many other restaurants and businesses. They restored and reopened the restaurant, however, and they are now proud overcomers of the superstorm. Daniel’s Bistro is back, and it’s even better than before.
Inside, Daniel’s Bistro is cozy and classy, perfect for an intimate dining experience. Windows and skylights allow sunshine to flood the room, making it seem more airy and open. You’ll be impressed by the kind, attentive wait staff and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. From the moment you enter until the moment you leave, you are an important guest, and the entire team at Daniel’s makes you feel special.
The bistro is a BYOB establishment, so you can bring your own bottle of your favorite fine wine as a complement to the outstanding meal that you are sure to enjoy.
When you’re at Daniel’s, you will have the opportunity to select from some amazing appetizers, including Zuppa di Mussels, Braised Escargot, Mesclun Salad, Hudson Valley Foie Gras, Spicy Duck Meatballs and Buffalo Mozzarella. Often, the waiter will also bring you some little samples of the chef’s special to taste; it’s an excellent way to try a new dish before ordering it. Some favorites from the entree portion of the menu of Berkshire Pork Costaletto, 24-Hour Braised Domestic Lamb Shank, Diver Sea Scallops and grilled Ribeye Steak Fiorentina.
