Get a Unique View of South Jersey’s Fireworks in Ocean City

As bright flashes of red, white and blue lights burst across the night sky, the annual fireworks displays along the Jersey Shore captivate South Jersey locals and visitors each Fourth of July. Every summer, these eager observers make their way to the beach or the boardwalk to get a glimpse of the unique fireworks displays erupting across the Jersey Shore.

Most people grab their beach chairs and huddle on the beach or attempt to find an empty section on the crowded boardwalk. But this summer, the Ocean City Fishing Center is offering a different and more personal way to catch the fireworks.

Fireworks on the Sea

The 4th of July Fireworks Cruise takes adults and kids out for a boat ride to watch the firework display; in particular, it takes a tour of both Ocean City and neighboring towns. As the 70-foot party boat glides across the water, guests get a panoramic view of the fireworks; of course, they also get to enjoy the company of close friends and family.

With a great view of the fireworks, the ride is perfect for skipping crowds and is a unique group outing. Guests on the boat are also welcome to bring their own food and drinks along for the ride.

The boat leaves the Ocean City Fishing Center dock on Bay Avenue at 8:45 pm; it will most likely return at 11:00 pm, depending on the length of the fireworks displays.

For those interested in making special memories with loved ones out on the water; the Ocean City Fishing Center is offering tickets for this cruise at $30 for adults and $15 for children.

These tickets must be purchased in advance on the Ocean City Fishing Center website or by calling to make a reservation. For more information about this cruise, check out the event on Facebook.
