Crystal Springs Resort Provides Luxury Pool Complexes

Vista 180 Pool at Crystal Springs Resort

Sometimes, the backyard pool just doesn’t cut it. Then there’s the hassle of packing everything necessary for a day at the town pool. Instead, New Jersey residents can plan a trip to Crystal Springs Resort (one of NJ’s Best Weekend Getaways). The resort offers an array of indoor and outdoor pool options at two hotels: Grand Cascades Lodge and Minerals Hotel.

“We’re proud of our pool complexes, which we feel are the state’s best,” says Michelle Abate, Director of Marketing for Crystal Springs Resort. The three distinct pool offerings include the Biosphere, Vista 180° and Minerals complexes. Each provides a unique and exceptional experience for guests.

The Biosphere

Grand Cascades Lodge houses the 10,000-square foot BioSphere pool complex. It’s the first structure in the United State to incorporate German Foiltec roofing material. This allows for 100% light transmission for year-round tanning. In addition, a retractable roof promotes an outdoor feeling even when the roof is closed. Indoors, the freeform pool is surrounded by imported tropical foliage. But outdoors, the pool features a 140-foot water slide. There’s also an underground aquarium full of tropical fish. Dining options at the Biosphere include light fare and drinks at Taqueria. The eatery serves South of the Border-inspired tacos and salads, fresh gelato, and tropical drinks.

Vista 180° Pool

Adjacent to Grand Cascades Lodge, the Vista 180° complex features two pools. First, the infinity pool offers views of the surrounding mountains. Meanwhile, the adjacent freeform pool houses a water slide, current vortex pool, and a therapy-jet spa cove. Guests can enjoy a meal at the Seafood Shack which serves snacks, salads, seafood, and cocktails.

Minerals Pool Complex

Meanwhile, Minerals Hotel in Vernon boasts indoor and outdoor pools with mountain views. The pool complex includes a sauna and steam room, cliff jump, and a spray ground that’s ideal for kids. Other features include a grotto-like waterfall screened cave, and underground aquarium with tropical fish. The Moonshine, the complex’s outdoor bar, evokes the spirit of the Prohibition era. The bar hosts live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Otherwise, guests can experience a locally-influenced, farm-to-table menu at The Farmstand.

Every pool complex at Crystal Springs Resort offers lounge chairs, towel services, and both changing and locker rooms. On weekends, the hotels typically require a two-night minimum stay. This may extend to a three-night minimum stay on holiday weekends. However, they also offer day passes for those who don’t want to stay overnight.

Join the Summer Olympics at Crystal Springs Resort

In honor of the 2024 Olympic Games, the resort will host its own summer Olympics at Minerals Hotel. From August 1 – 29, guests can save 15% on their stay plus compete in daily games like pickleball or archery. Participants can compete for gold, silver, or bronze prizes such as an overnight stay at the Resort. Other prizes include six rounds of golf at their courses, or fine dining for two at Restaurant Latour. All participants receive a raffle ticket for an opportunity to win additional prizes.
